Bernt taking BEST MALE/BOB/BIS beating his Mother Int Ch Nordw-01 WW-03 Ølenskjold`s Revelation who took BOS. This was the first breed special in the history, and a triple special for Am Akita, Akita and Shiba. Bernt took 3 x BOB, 2 BIS & 1 BIS2 only 11 months old and from junior class. His mother took BOS on 2 of the shows. This was in 2005.

"Bernt" comes from the Multi Ch. World Winner 2003 Nordic Winner 2000 Ølenskjold's Revelation litter. For several years we have been waiting for Restitution and Restore, Revelation's litter sisters, to have their own litters. Unfortunately we haven't got any puppies from them, but we asked our friends Arvid & Evy Wie if we could borrow Revelation to take a litter on her after our Melodor Norwegian Viking.

Regrettably Revelation only carried two puppies, and she had problems delivering them. The first puppy was born dead, and in her lack of contractions we drove as fast as we could to our veterinary Bernt Dale(the dog is named after the vet) to rescue the last puppy. After the surgery his mother did not want to have anything to do with him so we had to bottle feed him.

As you can understand, Bernt is a very special boy. He lived in foster care at Ingrid Prytz Ohm and Per Morten Aarak for 1 month and lived together with a bunch of Welsh Corgi Cardigan & Border Collies.

In 2004 he was shown twice. At both shows he was 4 months of age. First show he took BOB & 2 Best In Group. At his second show he took it all, and also BEST IN SHOW puppy. The breed and group judge, Arne Foss, said he got goosebumbs when he watched him in the ring.
